I’m forever grateful to those who came to my first book signing this past Friday July 22, 2016 at Indigo Bleu in Philadelphia, PA I had some very special visitors from a few folks  I grew up with. I wasn’t nervous I was just pretty much open to the experience of my very first book signing. It’s not easy being transparent and to be able to share a deep emotional story, especially if it’s your own story. I healed in the process of writing my memoir and I learned so much about myself and can see who I am actually becoming and it’s phenomenal.
