That one time when I hopped in Hazie Blu Collectives photo shoot! That was a busy day for me running from one end of the city to the other. Earlier that day I had rehearsal at Millennium Dance Complex for the first taping of the 1980’s hit show “Dancin On Air”, so you know I was sweaty. I think I danced all my breakfast and small bites out but that didn’t stop me.   I ran over to Flashwerkzphotography Studio to show my boys some love and hop in their flicks. Pins dropped and the room was so silent as I began to belt out a few notes at KBM’s 1 year anniversary celebration. Some sat on the lounge chairs and others stood by as I sung “Breaking The Law” by Emeli Sande. No one knew of me or who I was they just sat back and anticipated this short natural girl do her thing. It’s funny because I’m so used to being on the other side telling others how great they sound and how awesome they’re performance was and now I’m getting the same accolades. I was freezing on my way to meet with Philly rapper Ar-Ab for our up close and personal interview. I was new to the Interviewer/Journalist game and so I just allowed Ar to talk like an open book. Top Goon Ar-Ab as they call’em! That night was one of the funniest in interview history. Talk about bloopers. This guy pictured here fell out, Yes! I said fell out his chair as we were filming for the interview. He had his special “Sizzurp” sitting right by him, so I asked, “What’s That?”, Ar-Ab, “Oh! This that stuff Weezy (Lil Wayne) is in the hospital for. In 2013 Lil Wayne was rushed to the hospital for seizures in which his use of “Sizzurp” allegedly caused. I think this was my very first time in front of the camera and the very same day I had to tell Director, Justin Douglas off. Making friends at UBIQ Holiday Party 2014

Out of all the days to rain it rained on my photo shoot day. I was already nervous and had no idea what I wanted to look like, how I wanted my hair Yadda! Yadda! Yadda! Lets’ just say my nerves were wrecked. (DBurton Photography 2014) I was in good hands and it turned out better than I thought!

I had no clue as to how the photos were going to turn out but I pulled it off. It was raining, I’m natural so all my “Naturalista’s” know what that means for our hair POOF!. Luckily! My very first time in years singing in front of people and it was one of the best feelings in the world. I and a few others had the chance to sing background vocals for some “Soul Sista’s” at New Breed Events “Queen of Hearts” Gail Rene, Parris Love, and Catrisha Utley sang their hearts out.
